We take privacy very seriously. We are working hard to ensure your data remains private. In this page you can learn how you can configure and use NDX AI Shopping Assistant privacy features. Learn more about our Privacy Policy.
My Profile
You can choose is others can see your profile page.
- If your profile is public, other members of the our community can see your profile. For example, this includes your product searches.
- If your profile is private, only you can see your profile page and your searches.
To change your profile visibility, go to Settings > Privacy > Profile and set Visibility to Private.
My Location
If your profile is public, other people may see your location (such as location of your searches).
If you would like to hide your location, then set Settings > Privacy > Show my location to Off.
If your profile is private, nobody else can see your precise location.
Note
In order to ensure safety of our community, your profile may still display your coarse location (such as country) based on your IP address.
Anonymized Product Price
In order for community to get latest prices, we require at minimum to share anonymized product price. Your Searches, Location, Profile remain private, if you set them so.
Products that have been recognized will be used to anonymously aggregate it to price history distribution.
How does price distribution look like?
For example, if 10 million people searched for price of a yogurt. This conceptually results in following data:
user 000_000_001: 10.5$
user 000_000_002: 12.0$
...
user 010_000_000: 15.0$We collect price information and collapse it into following result:
minimum price 10$
average price 60$
maximum price 100$This information does not identify you nor it is not linked to you. This information does not show exactly which searches or users were a foundation for this price distribution information.
Private searches, their image, text, location, time, and other information remains private.
You may also be aware that de-anonymization and security attacks are happening online and offline all the time by hackers, state actors, and other entities. We work hard to protect your privacy and security.
Diagnostics
In order to improve the app, we may need technical diagnostics data.
We never share this data with third parties.
In fact, you can see this data yourself in Settings > Privacy > Diagnostics > View Diagnostics.
This data contains technical details necessary for us to understand and improve app networking and operations.
If you would like to turn of sending diagnostics, then set Settings > Privacy > Diagnostics > Share Diagnostics to Off.
Open Source and Third Party Libraries
NDX AI Shopping Assistant iOS app does not use any Open Source nor Third Party Libraries. Only standard and public Apple API and SDK has been used.
Note
What this means? Simply put it, your iOS NDX AI Shopping Assistant app has excellent security and privacy. It is impossible for adversaries and hackers to get into your phone through complex supply-chain attacks on NDX AI Shopping Assistant app. Similarly, it is impossible for third parties to spy on you through supply-chain-leaks and fingerprinting attacks on NDX AI Shopping Assistant app.
